This is Us
Hi! There!! I’m Jeana, the one behind the computer and this is my husband, Javi, the one editing and encouraging my endeavor with Snoot & Toebeans. After both of us being single for (well too long), our paths crossed randomly and we are positive that God coordinated the whole thing. Javi was from Colorado and I was from Texas, so after two years of a long distance relationship, we tied the knot on July 2, 2016.
We lived in Texas until I retired as an educator in May 2020. Then, we moved to the beautiful state of Colorado. Javi was ready to be back home and this Texas girl was ready to be close to the mountains.
Up until meeting Javi, I had shared my life with two fur babies for seven years. It was as they say, “love me, love my dogs,” so he settled in as a dog dad, truly loving them both and doing his fair share of the spoiling.

Our 4-Legged Family Member
There is no way I can look into the eyes of our fur baby and not sense the infinite dimension of the soul that most assuredly resides behind his wise and loving eyes. I know there is no love quite as powerful as the love I share with him.

Yep! I’m that person who names their pets after characters in a movie. I just couldn’t help myself when a 2-year-old little boy Morkie came into my life four years after my late Bella. One of my friends had rescued him right out of a front yard where the lady begged her to take him because her foster children were abusing him horribly. My friend did, however he wasn’t a good match with her other two dogs. She called me and the rest is history. Bella and I fell in love with him. It took him nearly two years to trust us and love us back, but oh! how it was worth the wait. Edward is now 10-years-old.

RIP: May 24, 2022
Gosh, my sweet Bella, you were a tough “good-bye”! You were my devoted little fur baby for 12 beautiful years. I sure will miss the happy dance when I come home and I will miss the bathroom audience! I will just miss you every day for the rest of my life sweet girl. You were my shadow and I will always feel you near. Oh how I loved you baby girl! I will see you at the other end of the rainbow Belly Boo Boo! Run free my little one. Go play with the angels.

Our Purpose
I do not claim to be a professional anything in the pet industry, but I do claim to be a passionate dog parent. All of the dogs that have come into my life have taught me joy, play, laughter, unconditional love, and acceptance. Through my passion, I want to share with you the things I have learned through personal experiences, as well as countless hours researching anything and everything dog. I strive to give my fur babies the best lives they can possibly have during their much too short of time on this earth, and I want to help you do the same for your fur babies.
I will strive to make Snoot & Toebeans a site that you will want to return to for information on the physical and mental well being of your dog, product reviews, dog friendly travel tips, dog treat and food recipes, games to play with your dog, diy dog projects, and a photo gallery guaranteed to make you smile. It is my hope that you will find the information you seek to enhance the unconditional love between you and your four-legged family member.
